la tahzan..

Please Don't Forget the Plight of Muslims in your Dua's "And Seek (Allah's) help
with Sabr (patience) and Salat (prayers): it is indeed hard, except to those who
are humble" (Qur'an Al-Baqara 2:45)

If God brings you to it,
He will bring you through it.
In Happy moments, praise God.
In Difficult moments, seek God.
In Quiet moments, worship God.
In Painful moments, trust God.
In Every moment, thank God...

selamat Hari raya..

It is that time again… After one month of fasting in the day, filling our time with ibadah in the day and especially at night, the month of Ramadhan is at its end and Syawal is here to greet us all in warmth and promise of festivities. Although I am sad to leave Ramadhan, I pray and look forward to meeting again this blessed month in a year’s time. For now, it is time to be merry and to ask for forgiveness. So here I am wishing everyone a Happy Eid Mubarak or in Malay a Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri!
So dear friends, families, associates and anybody I might have hurt throughout my time on earth (it’s quite a long time actually), I would like to ask for forgiveness for any of my wrongdoings throughout our friendship or association. Do believe me when I say I did not intend to hurt any of you on purpose. I hope we can celebrate the 1st day of Syawal together in harmony, happiness and with lots of love. ;-)
Have a fantastic celebration my dearies. Save some Raya cookies for me eh? Any open house invites for lil-ol-me? :-P
P/S : Be careful with the fireworks and firecrackers kids. Better be safe than sorry.

Ramadhan leave us..

My dear brothers, may you be blessed by Allah,
My dear brothers,
When Ramadhan leaves us, Syawal greets us. Syawal marks the victory for Muslims after a whole month of fasting.
Certainly, many of us celebrate Syawal with joy and happiness. For some of us, the preparations for Syawal have been done much earlier. We decorate our homes, we prepare new clothes and a variety of delicacies to offer our guests. We await the coming of Eidulfitri.
But before we are overcome by joy and celebration, we should end our training and schooling in the month of Ramadhan with several important questions.
What did we actually set out to achieve and celebrate? How then should we celebrate these achievements?

to choose our way..

There is no try. There is only do or do no..our life required us to make a choose.either we want to do it or do not..everything is about choosing something for self..hihi.me too,in two line right now..what i only can hopes for, everything that i choose will give benefits not only for my self but for others too..

Fate And Destiny According To The Quran And Sunnah

It is also important to understand that Allah has knowledge over all things. Allah knows what will happen to us before we do. Allah knows the outcome of all of our decisions. And Allah has stated in His book, the Holy Quran, that everything that will happen throughout all creation was already written.
Surah Al-Hadid (The Chapter of Iron) verse 22 states:
“No calamity befalls on the earth or in yourselves but it is inscribed in the Book of Decrees (Al Lawh Al Mahfooz) before We bring it into existence. Verily, that is easy for Allah.”

Fate and destiny..

Many people, Muslims included, are confused about fate and destiny. They are not sure how much freewill they really have. They are not certain if they have the freedom to make their own choices, or if Allah has forced them upon a certain path.
I always believe the best way to tackle any problem is to start with the basics. So first, let’s lay some groundwork.
Here are a few things you should keep in mind.
  • Allah is the creator of all things, including our actions.
  • Belief in Allah’s power, knowledge and control of all things is one of the six. This is called Qadar, loosely translated as Divine Destiny.
  • A person has the freedom, the choice, to do as he/she wants.
  • We have no control over the outcome of those choices.
  • The outcome of these choices is our destiny. Only Allah knows what this destiny is.

salam..here i wanna to share with u guys from one of my favourite hadis..from muhammad the prophet (s.a.w)...

"O son of Adam, as long as you call upon Me and put your hope in Me, I have forgiven you for what you have done and I do not mind. O son of Adam, if your sins were to reach the clouds of the sky and then you would seek My forgiveness, I would forgive you. O son of Adam, if you were to come to Me with sins that are close to filling the earth and then you would meet Me without ascribing any partners with Me, I would certainly bring to you forgiveness close to filling it."

In this Hadithi Qudsi, Allah gives hope to mankind more than any other narration. It displays the quality and attribute of Allahs mercy. Indeed, He is ar-Rahman, the Most Compassionate, and ar-Raheem, the Most Merciful. In this Hadithi Qudsi, Allah tells man of the greatness of His forgiveness and mercy so that no one would despair due to the amount of sins he may have committed.

life is a Challenge..take it serious!

i'm cracking my head again..but almost  all the time..ehehee..as i said before this semester was so challenging to us..all of us need to work harder if we want to graduate on time.Work harder and giving our best..two big things to do .huhu..For me,my self to maintain a good result is not as easy as we think..people might say ..'alaa senang seja ba tu,ko studi sajala'..but for me,i'm not expect  only to get an A..but how could i apply what i'm studying for almost this three years..to get an A might be easy..but to really understand what we are learn and how could we apply it in our life..is not so easy..i means here ..i am trying to give meaning in what i do..not only for my benefits but for others too..As i believe,we are not seeking for people appreciation, this things will comes after we getting his redho,i means here from Allah..we are seeking the  reward ..from our creator..always put our hopes on him.

"O son of Adam, as long as you call upon Me and put your hope in Me, I have forgiven you for what you have done and I do not mind. O son of Adam, if your sins were to reach the clouds of the sky and then you would seek My forgiveness, I would forgive you. O son of Adam, if you were to come to Me with sins that are close to filling the earth and then you would meet Me without ascribing any partners with Me, I would certainly bring to you forgiveness close to filling it." ...

Lailatur qadar..The Night of power part 2

salam..hi alls  lets continue our previous discussion on lailatul qadar and for this entry i would like to share with you when is lailatul qadar. Before this i wrote about what can we do during lailatul qadar, but here we will see together in this month of Ramadhan when is lailatur qadar will come ..( owh ya,for others who do not know what is lailatul qadar please refer to my previous entry)don't skip it:)
The question everyone has is: “When is the Night of Power? Which night is lailatul qadar?”

We already know from the Quranic verses above, that lailatul qadar occurs during the month of Ramadan. A narrative from Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), the prophet’s wife, states: “when the last ten days of Ramadan began, the Prophet (peace be upon him) would stay up at night, wake his family and tie his lower garment tight.”
So now we know that Lailatul Qadar is during the last ten nights of Ramadan.
There is a statement from Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) that reveals more evidence. He stated:
“Verily I saw Lailatul Qadr, and I was caused to forget it, and indeed it is during the last ten (nights). It is during an odd night and I saw myself as if I were prostrating in mud and water.”
This shows that the Night of Power occurs during the odd numbered nights during the last ten days of Ramadan.
It was recorded that after he made this statement, Prophet Muhammad led his companions in prayer. While they were praying, it began to rain, and after Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) came up from prostration, his forehead was covered in mud and water. One narration states this occurred on the twenty-first nght.
However, another narration states that lailatul qadar may occur during another night.
“Seek it in the last ten (nights) of Ramadan. In the ninth it still remains, in the seventh it still remains, in the fifth it still remains.”
Yet another narration from the companion Ubay Ibn Ka’b states otherwise. When informed that another Ibn Mas’ud (another companion of our prophet) said whoever stands for prayer during the entire year will catch lailatul qadar, Ubay responded: “May Allah have mercy upon him. Indeed he knows that it is during the month of Ramadan and that it is the twenty-seventh night.”
And then the companion Abu Hurayrah reported that Prophet Muhammad stated:
“Verily, it is during the twenty-seventh or the twenty-ninth night. And verily, the angels who are on the earth during that night are more numerous than the number of pebbles.”
And Ubaidah Ibn Samit reported that Prophet Muhammad said:
“Seek it in Ramadan in the last ten nights. For verily, it is during the odd nights, the twenty-first, or the twenty-third, or the twenty-fifth, or the twenty-seventh, or the twenty-ninth, or during the last night.”
So, we can see that while there is ample evidence that Lailatul Qadar occurs during the odd numbered nights of the last ten days of Ramadan, there’s no absolute evidence of the exact night. What is for the Muslim then, is to spend each of the last ten nights involved in worship, hoping to catch the Night of Power.
Several scholars believe that the Night of Power moves about during the last ten nights from year to year, and is not necessarily the same night every year. There appears to be sound evidence for this theory. This gives us even more reason to seek lailatul qadar during each of the last ten nights, instead of just focusing on one particular day.
This night is also a good time to increase our understanding of Islam. This is a good time to learn Quran or memorize a new dua. Even if you only know the basics of Islamic beliefs, you should take advantage of Lailatul Qadar.
And Allah knows best.

Lailatul qadar..The Night of power part 1:)

Lailatul Qadar, translated as the Night of Power, is the greatest night of the year. During this period, Muslims should spend their nights in worship and seek forgiveness, reward, and blessings of Allah.

what should we do during lailatul qadar?

Here are some recommended things that we should do during laylatul qadr.
  • Qiyamul Layl:  “Standing for Prayer at Night.” During any other time of the year outside of Ramadan, this prayer is the same as Tahajjud. However, during Ramadan, the Taraweeh prayer replaces Tahajjud, and Qiyamul Layl is a separate prayer Muslims can make at night. It is highly recommended that we make this prayer during Lailatul Qadar.
  • Dua: Roughly translated as “supplication”, this is an informal prayer in which the Muslim asks Allah for anything he or she may need or want.
  • Leaving the mundane: Muslims should decrease their involvement in wordly actions during lailatul qadar. While it’s okay to eat, drink and sleep during the Night of Power, they should refrain from sexual relations and frivolous activities like watching TV or common gossip.

Friendship is like a rainbow..

Friendship is like a rainbow?....hurrrmmmm

Friendship is like the colours of a rainbow,
Always in sight wherever you go.

Red like an apple, sweet to the core,
Once you have one, you're always wanting more.

Orange like a burning flame,
Never dying out, but always the same.

Yellow like the sun that brightens our day,
It touches the hearts of everyone, with its beautiful rays.

Green like a plant that keeps on growing,
Its leaves reaching out wherever I'm going.

Blue like the water that is so pure,
Wherever it's headed, it knows for sure.

Purple like a flower that is ready to bloom,
In my heart, it always has room.

thanks for being my friend:)

Being as the wayfarer: A question of balance

“Live in this world as a traveller or a stranger”

On the authority of Abdullah ibn Umar (May Allah be pleased with them both), he relates that the Prophet (Peace be upon him) once held my shoulders and said:
Live in this world as (if you are) a wayfarer or a stranger.” And Abdullah ibn Umar (May Allah be pleased with them both) used to say: “If you live till night, then do not wait for the next day (i.e. do not have hopes that you will live to the next day), and if you wake up in the morning do not have hope that you will live till the night. And take (advantage) from your health before your sickness and take advantage of your life before your death (i.e. do every possible obedience in your life before death comes to you for then no deeds can be performed.)” [Recorded in Bukhari and Tirmidhi*]
Explanation
“The similitude of ‘Living in this world as a wayfarer’ is like that of a traveler in this world who undertakes a journey and then stops to rest under the shade of a tree in a particular place. So the traveler ties his mount, lays down his luggage and retires for a moment under the shade in the midday heat, reclining against the tree. Then after having rested a while, he gathers his belongings, unties his mount and resumes his journey moving away from the temporary resting place, where he had sheltered for a short time. Such is the similitude of man in this world, who resides in this temporary abode of the world for a short time, and then he must thereafter continue his journey towards his real destination, which is the hereafter.”
P/s: I didn’t write the above explanation. I found it at this blog. I thought it was pretty on point so I decided to put a like to the blog.

The Hadith on Fasting..

salam..owh ya guys.As you guys know,we are in ramadhan right.so ,here i wanna to share hadith with all of u especially for Muslim friends..

Abu Huraira related that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever fasts during Ramadan with faith and seeking his reward from Allah will have his past sins forgiven. Whoever prays during the nights in Ramadan with faith and seeking his reward from Allah will have his past sins forgiven. And he who passes Lailat al-Qadr in prayer with faith and seeking his reward from Allah will have his past sins forgiven (Bukhari, Muslim).

Abu Huraira related that Rasulullah said: If anyone omits his fast even for one day in Ramadan without a concession or without being ill, then if he were to fast for the rest of his life he could not make up for it (Bukhari).
Abu Huraira related that the Prophet said: Allah the Majestic and Exalted said: "Every deed of man will receive ten to 700 times reward, except Siyam (fasting), for it is for Me and I shall reward it (as I like). There are two occasions of joy for one who fasts: one when he breaks the fast and the other when he will meet his Lord" (Muslim).
Abu Huraira related that Rasulullah said: Many people who fast get nothing from their fast except hunger and thirst, and many people who pray at night get nothing from it except wakefulness (Darimi).

When to start fasting
Ibn Umar related that the Prophet said: Do not start fasting unless you see the new moon, and do not end fasting until you see it. If the weather is cloudy then calculate when it should appear (Bukhari, Muslim).

The Suhoor(sahur) meal (which is eaten before dawn)
Anas related that Rasulullah said: Take the Suhoor meal, for there is blessing in it (Bukhari, Muslim).

Breaking your fast
Salman ibn Amir Dhabi related that the Prophet said: Break your fast with dates, or else with water, for it is pure (Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi).

Fasting during a journey
Aisha related that Rasulullah was asked whether one should fast when on a journey, and he replied: Fast if you like, or postpone it if you like (Bukhari, Muslim).

Behavior while fasting
Abu Huraira related that the Prophet said: If a person does not avoid false talk and false conduct during Siyam, then Allah does not care if he abstains from food and drink (Bukhari, Muslim).

Forgetfully eating or drinking while fasting
Abu Huraira related that Rasulullah said: If anyone forgets that he is fasting and eats or drinks he should complete his Siyam, for it is Allah who has fed him and given him drink (Bukhari, Muslim).

Providing for those who are breaking the fast
Zaid ibn Khalid Juhni related that the Prophet said: He who provides for the breaking of the Siyam of another person earns the same merit as the one who was observing Siyam diminishing in any way the reward of the latter (Tirmidhi).

Lailat al-Qadr
Aisha related that the Prophet said: Look for Lailat al-Qadr on an odd-numbered night during the last ten nights of Ramadan (Bukhari).
Anas ibn Malik related that Rasulullah said: When Lailat al-Qadr comes Gabriel descends with a company of angels who ask for blessings on everyone who is remembering Allah, whether they are sitting or standing (Baihaqi).

p/s :May ALLAH bless u on the occasion of Ramadhan ( "_")..

Ahlan Wa sahlan ya Ramadhan..

                                                 Assalamualaikum waramatullahi wabarakatuh..
Ramadhan is coming..
Happy ramadhan to everyone:)
Hopefully this coming Ramadhan will be better than previous Ramadhan. I like the month of Ramadhan.
It wasn't because I looked forward for Eid Fitri, but I can feel something special about this month. You know, when you fasting, perform tarawih, and perform ibadah during Ramadhan, the feeling is different which is good feeling ( close to Allah) and hoping Ramadhan will never go.
InsyaAllah I will make this coming Ramadhan better than previous Ramadhan as this time I will get through it with my own target. (^_^)

From Abu hurairah r.a, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever fasts during Ramadan with faith and seeking his reward from Allah will have his past sins forgiven. Whoever prays during the nights in Ramadan with faith and seeking his reward from Allah will have his past sins forgiven. And he who passes Lailat al-Qadr in prayer with faith and seeking his reward from Allah will have his past sins forgiven (Bukhari, Muslim)..

"man jadda wa jada"..?

Anyway to relate with my life now, “man jadda wa jada” is reminding me my goals. what I want in my life, I have to be sincere about it. Some people say that goals are nothing but dreams. But goals are possible with plan. And goals are achievable with plans and actions. I hope you all can understand what I am trying to convey:)..
